Sport Clips Haircuts Ranks Among Top Franchises for Veterans

Georgetown, Texas (Nov. 13) – Independent franchisee satisfaction research firm, Franchise Business Review, has identified Sport Clips Haircuts as one of just 80 franchises to qualify for its 2018 Top Franchises for Veterans list. Additionally, respected media enterprise Entrepreneur has named Sport Clips in the top 15 of its just-released 2018 Top Franchises for Veterans.

“Veterans are a high-priority for Sport Clips, as a franchise business opportunity and as a company that honors those who serve,” says Gordon Logan, founder, CEO and U.S. Air Force veteran. “As a veteran, making current and former U.S. service members a priority has been a part of the Sport Clips culture from the very start. These top rankings are gratifying and really tell the story of how the Sport Clips team works to earn our veteran-friendly accolades.”

Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only ranking of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. The firm analyzed 18 months of data from more than 26,000 veteran franchise owners representing over 250 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brands and their likelihood to recommend them to others. Sport Clips franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.

According to its website, Entrepreneur invited hundreds of franchises that offer some sort of incentive for veterans joining their system to participate in a survey designed to learn more about their veterans programs. From there, Entrepreneur developed its ranking of the top 150 franchises for veterans, taking into account each company's veteran incentive, how veteran franchisees are attracted to and supported by the company, and how each company scored in the 2018 Franchise 500.

This is the seventh year Sport Clips has ranked as a top franchise for veterans by Franchise Business Review and sixth year to be recognized by Entrepreneur.

Sport Clips is the official haircutter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and partners with the organization to administer its Help A Hero scholarships for veterans program. Help A Hero is the franchise’s signature philanthropy and just one of many ways the company supports active-duty military and veterans.
