It is with great pleasure that we at Sport Clips Haircuts announce a partnership with St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Our company has been a proud supporter of the organization for numerous years as they work to help conquer childhood cancer. We have pledged to donate $1 million to help the cause.
The mission of St. Baldrick’s is to change the realities of childhood cancer. The numbers are staggering and countless children are diagnosed with cancer each year. Two-thirds of these children treated for cancer will suffer long-term effects due to the treatment options available to them.
Since 2007, Sport Clips hair stylist Keli Knappage has been volunteering to shave heads at St. Baldrick’s Trinity Hall event in Dallas, Texas. After 7 years helping the organization, Keli shaved her own head and helped raise roughly $6,000 to fund research childhood cancer.
We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with an organization so dedicated to helping young children who have been diagnosed with cancer. Nearly all of our locations will be promoting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and we will have stylists volunteering to help the events put on by the organization. Furthermore, we will hold some events of our own to help with donations to this worthy cause.
Our team at Sport Clips Haircuts is encouraged by this opportunity and we hope that others will step up and help in the fight to conquer childhood cancer once and for all.
