Our CEO Gordon Logan is featured in Wall Street Journal’s article, “Heroes in America’s Workforce.” The story discusses the current trend of military veterans coming out of service and looking to start their own business. With boot camps such as “Patriot Boot Camp,” veterans are given the opportunity to learn about what it takes to be a business owner. The boot camp features speakers from various businesses and franchises and allows the participants to get to know each other and network.
A former U.S. Air Force Aircraft Commander, Logan understand the difficulties veterans may face when it comes to changing careers. He believes that veterans need knowledge in finance/accounting and marketing. He believes the fact that older veterans are entering into franchises and then extending their experience to younger vets creates a solid community for them to succeed. Franchises such as Sport
