Sport Clips Gives Back
A Team That Puts Community First
At the heart of the Sport Clips Haircuts culture is our values system. Our system was inspired by the same core values Coach Lou Holtz used to build championship football teams: "Do your best. Do what’s right. Treat others the way they want to be treated.” Founder and CEO Gordon Logan and his family put these values into action in 2013 when they pledged to donate $1 million to Georgetown, Texas-area nonprofits, where Sport Clips is based.
The Logan Family has been recognized for their philanthropic work with numerous programs, including:
- USO at Ft. Hood, Texas
- R.O.C.K. – Ride On Center for Kids (equine therapy for kids and veterans)
- The Boys and Girls Club
At Sport Clips, we understand what a pivotal role a community plays in the success of local business and that is why we strive to give back! We truly care about our clients and the community we all share. Sport Clips is also a proud supporter of many organizations at the national and local level including, but not limited to, those on this page.

Get Started!VFW's “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship” Program
Sport Clips has supported and currently supports, numerous veteran services
organizations. As a veteran and recipient of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
famed “Citizenship Award” and as a Life Member of the VFW,
Gordon has also made it his mission to support the military, giving back
and following the core value of the company he founded – to treat
others as they would like to be treated.
The VFW's Sport Clips’ “Help A Hero” Scholarship program has awarded more than $4.9 million dollars in scholarships to deserving active duty service members and veterans. To date, more than 1,000 VFW-administered scholarships have been awarded to qualified, active duty military and veterans who wish to pursue college degrees and vocational certifications. By providing these scholarships for use at post-secondary schools and trade schools, our goal is to make the transition from a military career to the civilian workforce a little easier.

served during WWII, in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used
to train many military aviators in the late thirties and early forties.
American Red Cross Blood Services

to victims of disasters around the world, and supplies about 40 percent
of the nation's blood products in the United States.
Once a year, Sport Clips is proud to support the blood collection efforts of the Red Cross on a national level. There is always a need to maintain the blood supply in our country, and the Saving Lives Never Looked So Good campaign is held each September. Anyone who donates or attempts to donate blood or platelets from September 1-30 is given a free haircut coupon from Sport Clips as thank you to donors for their lifesaving donation.

Helping each other is the most important benefit of being part of a team.
Caring is at the core of the Sport Clips values system and the Sport Clips
