At the heart of any great sports team lies a town that rallies behind them.
At Sport Clips, we understand what a pivotal role a community plays and
that is why we strive to give back! We center our values around Coach
Holtz’s words: “Do Your Best. Do What’s Right. Treat
Others the Way They Want to Be Treated.” We truly care about our
customers and the community we all share. That is why Sport Clips collaborates
with many charitable organizations.
We work with groups such as:
Braving the Shave to Save the Day
Sport Clips is very proud to support St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The
organization raises money to help young children fighting cancer. Every
penny earned goes into funding childhood cancer researchers who strive
to find the cure for the awful disease. Established in 1999, St. Baldrick’s
Foundation has continued to grow, thanks to the support of thousands.
Sport Clips is a proud partner of St. Baldrick’s Foundation and we
have pledged to donate $1 million to help the cause. The issue of childhood
cancer strikes home for us, as one of our stylist’s son battles
the disease. Since 2007, Keli Knappage has volunteered to shave heads
for the organization’s “Shave the Day” event. She shaved
her own head and raised an average of $6,000.
Giving a Helping Hand to a Hero in Need
As a veteran, founder Gordon Logan has made it his mission to give back
to men and women serving our country. We work closely with The Veteran
of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) and annually hold fundraisers
for our “Help A Hero” scholarship program. This past year
we were able to donate a record-breaking $830,000. The money is used to
support qualified, active-duty military and veterans who want to obtain
a certification or a college degree.
The scholarships amount up to $5,000. Thus far, we have been able to offer
$1.1 million scholarships and expect to over at least 103 awards in the
Sport Clips is more than just a business, it’s a family. All of our
team members work together to give back to the community. If you want
to be part of an organization that constantly looks at the greater good,
call today! Our franchise opportunities allow you the chance to own your
own business as well as be a party of the community.
Team Member Support
Helping each other is the most important part of being a team. Caring is
at the core of the Sport Clips values system and the Sport Clips Wayne
McGlone Memorial Relief Fund is one of the many ways we demonstrate this.
Our Sport Clips Relief Fund has awarded over $500,000 in grants to our
team members who suffer unforeseen tragedies such as illness, accidents,
tornadoes and floods. We will continue to care for our own with the contributions
raised though the generosity of the extended Sport Clips family.
The Wayne McGlone Memorial Relief Fund is administered by the Chisolm Trail
